In order to save millions of tax dollars paid by employed citizens of the state. The taxes that go to prison or jail funding to house inmates costs Florida over 3 billions dollars every year. The majority of these arrests are for marijuana possession or paraphernalia. Legalizing marijuana in Florida will help save our tax dollars and perhaps let the tax dollars being saved go towards something more beneficial such as school funding. Allow marijuana to be taxed and regulated by the state to help boost the economy and provide more jobs. Allow Florida to vote on the legalization of not only medicinal but recreational use as well.
