We the people of the Sovereign State of Utah petition the Government of the United States of America to peacefully withdrawn from this once great Nation and seek an alternate path to recovery. We feel that our State has been trampled upon by the United States government since it was allowed into the Union and we have held with contempt at times by said government.
It is believed by a vast majority of the citizens in the State of Utah that we the citizens of this State know how to best live our lives without the ever cumbersome regulations and interference by the government of the United States.
We feel it in the best interest of the citizens of the State of Utah to secede from the Union and establish a government by the people, for the people and of the people of the State of Utah.
