Allow the states and counties within to develop a group of armed individuals within the county that would volunteer their time to monitor school entrances along with school SROs. This could be carried over to school events as well. It wouldn't cost the school system or county anything and would surely make our kids, teachers and parents feel safer. There are plenty of carry permits within my county and with additional training I feel it's something to consider. Let's put those expensive permits to use.
