The US Constitution states that no state can withdraw from the Union. This petition hopes to allow states to withdraw from the Union. There would have to be a unanimous decision between the state's federal senators and representatives, a 75% decision in both houses of the state general assembly, approval from the state's governor, and a 60% approval from registered voters in the state.
