Allow the Statue of Liberty to mean something by continuing to accept refugees from Syria and other war torn nations.

Since the recent bombing in Paris and the release of information that a single terrorist had been accepted as a refugee, a lot of panic has erupted. Much of mankind has forgotten that the best way to combat terrorism, is through helping others up. I ask that First, we continue to allow the Syrian refugees, rather than turn them away and make these desperate people even more desperate and that we look to finding a method that we can truly aid our brethren and sisters of the world. I also ask that petitions to ban Syrian refugees are dismissed. The concept of banning people who are running from evil on the miniscule chance that one MIGHT be a terrorist is against everything America has stood for. We need to extend Lady Liberties light, and not extinguish it. God Bless America.
