allow student-athletes in high schools (public and private) to get a bigger "Athlete's portion" sized lunch

Created by G.C. on February 26, 2014

Students on a "meal plan" at their high school are often limited to a minimal amount of food. Student-athletes, who need extra food to sustain them for their sport, should be provided with a larger portion of food at lunch so that they can be sustained and healthy during their specific sport. The student would specify, at the beginning of the season, that they play a sport and are willing to pay an increased amount of money for this "athlete's portion". The increase in food would be 25% more than a regular meal.
