The student athletes that play football at the Pennsylvania State University are burdened by actions taken by the NCAA for crimes they did not commit. Criminal acts of former coaches should not affect lives of future leaders. The young men who followed their hearts to play for a benevolent university should not be persecuted for callous missteps taken by misguided leadership. We hereby ask the President to step in and guide the governing body of collegiate athletics to allow the team of student athletes who play football at the Pennsylvania State University the chance to fulfill their dreams of playing in a bowl game this season.
