Allow student loan debt to be discharged through Bankruptcy. Banks and Corporations are allowed a bailout why not us?

Student loan debt has reached an all-time high and puts a heavy burden on recently graduated students. Repayment of these loans has become nearly impossible in today’s job market. It is becoming increasingly popular for graduated individuals to be unemployed for 6 months, a year or more. Student loans often offer a forbearance or deferment period for 6 months to a year and once this period expires, repayment is an unattainable goal. The collection agencies request unrealistic amounts of money and unrealistic repayment plans. For this reason students are issued judgments and their credit score diminishes often destroying their chances of obtaining a mortgage. I am requesting that students are offered a bailout much like the Banks and that college tuition be reduced to a realistic levels.
