State colleges and universities should allow students the right to erase up to three classes once the student has graduated. The classes must not be directly involved with their major(s) and minor(s).
This will help protect students who have switched majors from suffering from a large drop in their GPA. This will also help students who have explored other options or who explored their curiosities in their academic career.
Schools keep such a close record on grades, even though some of the grades do not reflect how the student performs inside of their final field of study.
Removing up to three classes could help the students raise their overall GPA, and keeping the classes capable of being removed to those outside of their final area of study will help show the student's true ability.
