As an honors student in High School I am assigned a new project almost every night. My school district has adopted a new rule in which the use of Wikipedia on ALL projects is prohibited. This frustrates me as Wikipedia is an incredible source to find useful information. The district's case is that Wikipedia's website can be edited by anyone. Every website must be edited by someone, which means every website can have errors and false information. Wikipedia is something our nation should be proud of, it's not just one person providing information on a subject they know. It is the population of the United States and other leading countries that came together and make an online book of information that no publisher can meet. Although this is a small issue, it is important to anyone who writes.
