Being a student myself, I know that in many public schools throughout the nation, students are very unhappy with the public education system. The result of this being truancy, (up to the point where a legal court is involved)physical/mental disorders such as depression, anxiety, and even suicidal thoughts which I have had myself. Many social disabilities are related to school, for instance when a student is very anti social and is forced to communicate with peers, the pressure is very harsh. In many states, online schooling is allowed, but in others such as New York (who has one of the most difficult education systems) does not. I believe that if online schooling was legalized in all states, children and teens would be able to escape most of these problems. This petition could save lives.
