allow the Super Bowl to be considered a national holiday

Created by S.D. on January 17, 2013

The Superbowl, like other national holidays, is a time where many families and friends get together in celebration of a day where two football teams have worked so hard to get an event that is watched by millions of Americans. Between elementary, middle, high school and college aged students, a large portion of this group will be up late on the first Sunday of February with their families and friends to watch this event. This event, like Christmas, Easter, and Thanksgiving, brings families and friends together to have a great time and celebrate a day like no other in America. Declaring the Superbowl a national holiday would benefit a majority of Americans and make our country even greater.
