Allow Syrian Refugees into America

Created by M.B. on November 17, 2015

This is a petition in the wake of the November 13th attacks to protect human rights and allow Syrian refugees to enter the United States.
According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, at least 4 million people have been displaced from their homes in the last 4 years, and many organizations estimate the number to be closer to 7 million. Even though refugees have been fleeing Syria for the past 4 years, they have not made any terrorist attacks on the countries they flee to. While the origins of the Paris attacker are of concern, a similar attack was made in Beirut, Lebanon on the same day. Beirut hosts thousands of Syrian refugees who lack basic necessities such as shelter, food and water.
