allow a tax and penalty free 401k withdrawal to reduce or pay off federal student loans.

Created by M.J. on November 13, 2014

Many working Americans are over burdened with student loan debt. Many pursued degrees while working in hopes of making more money after graduation in order to pay off the student loan debt incurred only to find out after they obtained degrees that the additional income is insufficient to cover their new debt load. For many, this debt prevents them from moving on, starting families and buying houses. It would be a tremendous help to be able to transfer 401k funds to pay off student loans in order to get on with our lives.
