Allow a tax deduction for volunteers of 501c3 nonprofits and government organizations at a rate of(min. wage x hrs)

Created by H.C. on September 04, 2015

Non-profits and government public service organizations are ever in need of volunteers. Those who give charitable donations and even gifts are offered tax deductions and credits, and those who give of their time should also be provided a tax deduction for their service. While no voluntary job is ever like another in regards to workload or skill, having a standardized rate of (minimum wage x hrs worked) could provide a fair base calculation for the deduction. In areas of greater need, these services could be provided a tax CREDIT.
