allow tax-payers to be able to choose where their tax money goes.

instead of electing politicians whom we hope will vote for legislation that we agree with, and/or having to pay taxes for something that one does not agree with; allow a flexibility in where a tax payer's money goes. For instance, say "x" amount of tax money be flat taxes, but have "y" amount be spent on what the tax payer chooses, such as military, education, parks&recreation, etc. This way, the wants of the American People are better represented.
