allow taxpayers to have a direct say in how their tax dollars are spent.

Created by F.D. on September 22, 2011

The people should be allowed to indicate on their federal income tax forms which government agencies/departments they want their tax dollars to go to. Certainly, allowing us to direct all of our tax dollars would not be workable, but allowing taxpayers to specify where, for example, ten percent of their money goes would not only empower the people by giving them a direct say in the federal budget, but would also make them feel better about paying their taxes, too.
