allow taxpayers to voluntariy donate to a National Debt Retirement Fund by having a check-off box on income tax forms,

Created by J.W. on January 19, 2013

If given an opportunity many citizens would contribute from their tax refunds directly to help pay down our Federal Debt. Using a National Debt Retirement Fund check-off, similar to the presidential campaign fund check-off, on our IRS income tax form would be simple.

Key points:
1. Administered by the FEC and would go directly to debt retirement and nothing else.
2.. Requires the approval of an annual federal budget without consideration of the National Debt Fund when approving the federal budget.
3. This is for our future generations
4. It would be an additional donation and would not come out of taxes paid.
