Public Charter School Teachers, whether or not their school is managed by a for-profit entity, should be eligible for either the Teacher or Public Service Loan Forgiveness programs. All public charter schools receive state and federal funding, and must adhere to the requirements of their respective school districts. As public charter teachers are generally paid less than regular district teachers, they are also in great need of support.
