By allowing teachers and school administrators the option to carry firearms while at school would drastically cut if not stop school shootings. All incidents of this type occur in "GUN FREE" zones that, law abiding citizens respect. Laws are made and enforced by the government, but a representative of the government is not always present to watch over and protect each and every person in the country. By allowing the school staff to lawfully carry firearms, and preforming basic firearms training and have emergency plans in place. It would allow the staff to have a means of self protection, and more importantly, a means to protect those they are given charge of.
The criminal element of this county will always prey on the weak and defenseless, and will have the means to be armed.
