The teaching of our country's children is extremely one sided and biased, in an effort to protect them from a viewpoint that educators feel would equally be one sided and biased. I petition for our us to take advantage of our right to freedom of religion and demand that not just evolution, but also creationism and other viewpoints of the origin of life be taught in order to really give children the right to choose their own beliefs.
This country was founded on the belief that as a democracy the people have a voice. If we all collectively demand to have our voices heard and sign this petition then we will make a real difference in the education of our countries future.
