Allow Temporary Early Retirement Authority for Active Duty military members who have served 13 & 14 years.

Created by W.H. on January 14, 2014

For the sake of balancing this country's budget, our military branches are finding ways to cut military members. Some are hard working members with no negative indicators. Our services are offering early retirements for Active Duty service members that have been in 15 years or more. Those who have been in less than 15 years are only being offered Separation Pay with only minimal temporary benefits. This is not enough! If the involuntary separated member does not find a job, that Separation Pay will hardly last them a year. Those who have been serving over 12 years have stayed this long for the long haul and counted on retiring from the military at 20 years with benefits for themselves and their family. Don't leave them out to dry!
