As it is the right of the State of Texas leave the United States by treaty with the USA. And since a growing number of Texans have no faith in the US government to conduct the business of governing the country. We the people of the Republic of Texas wish to peaceably leave the Union since it is clear that the Government of the US no longer can guaranty a "more perfect Union". We wish to proceed with the task of governing ourselves.
