The petition for Texas to secede from the Union does not allow the voice of those who wish to remain part of the United States to be heard. Those who sign this petition express their want to remain in Texas as well as the United States of America.
Seeing as the original petition was also created by a "Micah H." I feel obligated to express my first amendment rights as he did and tell the president as well as congress that there are citizens in Texas that wish to remain united.
I would remind those that think otherwise the consequences that followed secession. War, tragedy, a hindered economy and much more.
