Since Texas has repeatedly called for secession over and over; since they have tried to revolt in the past and took the side of the traitorous Confederacy against the United States; and since they feel they are better off without our military and border control, then let them leave this union peacefully at their request. Any debts owed to the federal government will become as debt owed from a foreign nation with the full weight of the Treasury and Military in enforcing payment of that debt on terms agreed to between both parties.
Since Puerto Rico has been constantly trying to move to statehood for almost a century; and since they have been a loyal ally throughout this time and a key strategic location in our defense, let them join the union to replace Texas.
