Now, more than ever, there is a need for clear definitions of the consequences relating to two separate areas: bullying and violence in schools. focusing on Elementary schools in this example, children learn by visual stimulation that they can relate to. By addressing these consequences and adhering to them, it's allowing the children to think before they act. There should be fair, yet strong consequences that are written and posted in each and every classroom. We should also together as communities discuss what defines bullying and what defines violence, then holding the children accountable, and if they repeat their poor behavior, then it will eventually fall onto the parents to seek counseling or help for their child to be a productive member of the classroom in the future.
