We’re told to vote by PACs, celebrities, and family. We’re told that if we don’t vote, we can’t complain, because our vote may have changed the outcome; yet, when we want to vote 3rd party, we’re told we may as well throw our vote away. This leaves 2 parties to choose from and, for many, it feels like picking the lesser of 2 evils.
Many don’t know 3rd party candidates they may support on the issues; those who do may not want to throw their vote away. To fix this, political debates should include third parties. The issue is the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) hasn’t allowed a third party candidate to debate, as it is controlled by the Red and Blue, and they don’t want other parties to win elections.
Ask the CPD to let the Libertarian and Green parties in the presidential debates.
