We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Allow Third Party Nominees to Participate in the Presidential Election Debates Alongside the Two Main Parties.

Created by N.W. on June 08, 2016

We the people are petitioning for the Commission on Presidential Debates to allow third party presidential nominees to participate in the televised debates this fall, alongside the Democratic and Republican candidates.

The CPD’s arbitrary rule of only allowing third party candidates to participate if they “garner at least 15% in support across five national polls” is purposefully prohibiting natural competition from taking place, unfairly benefiting only the Democratic and Republican parties, and going in direct opposition of the desires of millions of people who have voted for third party candidates in their state primaries and caucuses.

We the people demand to be represented fairly, and that cannot be accomplished by preventing the third party candidates from expressing their views.
