Allow those with celiac disease/non-life threating food allergies to be allowed to enlist in the Army, USAF, or USMC

Created by S.S. on March 31, 2014

Those with non-life threatening food allergies should be allowed to join the military. We want to serve just like everyone else who enlists, but we aren't allowed to because of something we can't control. Our constitution states that all men are created equal. So shouldn't we be allowed to enlist? Being accommodated would be the best outcome, however just the ability to enlist and pick food of of our plates would be enough. Perhaps their could be an all allergy platoon. Bottom line is, we aren't disabled. We have the capacity to become soldiers. But we can't despite the fact our constitution should allow us to. This needs to change. People with non-life threatening food allergies need to be able to enlist as soon as possible.
