Allow those who cannot afford to pay their taxes at Federal, State, County, and City levels to keep all their property.

Created by J.S. on April 05, 2013

The elderly, unemployed, poor, and disabled may bot be able to pay their property taxes. We would like a Federal protection so that no level of government can take any property away from its owner, nor hold a lein on any taxable property that may prevent other persons currently associated with said taxable property to lose access to this property. Furthermore, we request that no lein be held on this property to prevent transfer to those who would inherit this property. The value of the hard assets or taxable property should not be included in determining the qualification of meeting the poverty exemption, only the current liquid funds available. Economic hardship should be determined based on if the taxpayer has enough income to meet the expenses of the tax and not go belowthe poverty line
