My goal is to let the people back into the Whitehouse for tours. The Whitehosue doesn't need to be closed everyday if we are looking to save money. Our government wastes money on lots of things like planes which can't fly and no one wants including the military. Or maybe a few less trips. I am not suggesting the President not take vacation or visit other countries, however, how could you choose one golf game with Tiger Woods over keeping tours for citizens to visit the Whitehouse.
Our family was planning to visit Washington D.C this summer and visiting the Whitehouse was the main reason for our trip. Now I am not sure we will even go to D.C. This certainly won't help the local economy.
I know I am only 14, but I want to help make a difference.
