We, the American people, must end discrimination and come to accept all of our people for who they are. Transgendered people across the nation still struggle to make ends meet, and this could very easily be fixed.
First, as a trans-person who would have joined the Navy as a Nuclear engineer, I strongly support allowing people such as myself to join the military.
Second, as a trans-person, I find it difficult to find any insurance company that will pay for trans-health prescriptions. Force insurance companies across the nation to include these prescriptions in their plans, just as women have birth control covered.
