Allow Transgender Citizens to serve in the military.

There are able and strong willed American Citizens who are willing to put everything they have into serving our country. There's only one problem, they can't because they are transgender. Unlike the UK and Canada, we still ban transgenders from enlisting. This is all based on an out dated belief that we have come so far away from. The only reason people are against transgenders enlisting is because they believe that these individuals will ask for taxpayers to spend money so they can go through hormone therapy. Hormone therapy is the injection of a gender specific hormone to alter appearance and traits. The thing is, THAT is the ONLY reason they have to uphold the ban. At least let transgenders serve. You don't have to cover therapy costs or anything like that. Just let them serve.
