The Obama administration has always been a champion of the LGBT civil rights movement and on the right side of the equality debate no matter who a person is or who they love. Many gay and lesbian active duty troops and veterans were excited to see the historic lift of DADT, however this measure while grand left transgender people out in the cold leaving us to continue the fight for equality. There are many transgender veterans who cant reenter the service, and those currently serving that cannot make their transition due to the ban against trans people in the military. It shouldnt matter who someone is or who someone loves if that person is willing to sacrifice it all to the service of the country that they place above all else. Please help continue the fight for the lgbT.
