Several children across America are born and have a dream to join their country's military. Their dream is instantly destroyed when a child is diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. I feel that there are several positions in the United States Military where a Type 1 Diabetic can be effective and serve their country in the role that they deserve. It is wrong that the United States Military does not allow Type 1 Diabetics to serve their country and deny them the right that every United States citizen should have.
