On June 27 2014 the director of the National Park Service banned all drones from operating in the National Parks. It was done to give the National Park Service time to promulgate new safety rules concerning the use of drones. But two years later there has been no movement on those rules. The National Park Service is now preventing tax payers from their enjoyment of the parks. Politicians in Washington and locally are using flight restrictions to keep drones grounded because they're afraid a drone will take down a plane. If the National Park Service can allow weapons in the parks then what would be the harm with letting drones fly in the parks. The National Parks have great scenery that we would like to photograph. There are already enough laws to prevent the misuse of drones
