Currently, our military personnel are prohibited from carrying firearms, whether openly or concealed, on base. We have seen in recent years that military installations are not impenetrable. Disarming our military on base only puts those men and women in danger. By prohibiting firearms, you are creating victims. You need to allow the brave men and women who volunteer to protect our country the opportunity to protect themselves. Our military is trained to handle and use firearms. Allow the carry of firearms on base by ALL personnel, and maybe we can avoid more of these terrible events.
