Allow undocumented people to serve in the US Military and obtain citizenship upon honorable discharge.

Created by R.P. on November 14, 2012

Instead of the "Dream Act", we should allow young undocumented people to serve in the US military for a 4 year enlistment. Upon satisfactory completion of their military contract, and with an honorable discharge, those people should then be granted citizenship in the United States.

Being a citizen and veteran, they would then be eligible for VA benefits as well any other aid to pursue higher education or legally seek work in the US, not to mention the trade skills that they would learn in the military..
