Allow United States citizens to choose for themselves, individually, how their tax dollars will be spent.

Technology has advanced to the point where it is now feasible to create a system that would allow each individual tax-payer to indicate how they wish their tax dollars to be spent. It is time to allow Americans to choose for themselves which government programs are valued and need to be funded. Just as our pioneering ancestors joined together to fund schools once the communities felt there was a need, the American people of today can join together to fund programs (such as education, military, welfare, medicare, and NASA) they feel are of value. We don't need government assistance to determine what matters most to us. Instead, we need government to get out of the way and let us choose for ourselves.
