Allowing kids of all ages to express themselves in a better way, by have ANY hair color they want, will help them by giving them a sense of freedom that they can be their own person without having the consequence because their hair is "Unnatural therefore shouldn't be allowed." A lot of people say the reason is because its classified as "Distracting". If a color such as Blue for a hair color is Distracting then what is the difference in wearing a Blue Shirt. Its the same color, of course to some students, and teachers, it might be slightly distracting, but its not like somebody is going to sit there for a full class period staring at somebody's head. They will get over it. This may be the only chance that kids get at freedom before their school life is over.
