Today when a US citizen files a petition for their foreign spouse to get a green card the family is separated anywhere from 9-12 months. We should at least uphold American family values and allow the spouse to visit the US while waiting for the lengthy processing times. We are not asking for visa overstays or the right to work. Just the right to visit and be together as a family.
