For too long, have hard-working middle class families had to put their money into anonymous bank vaults with only a promise that it would be there when they needed it most. For too long, has the ability to frolic and play atop a mountainside of gold been the privilege of only a select few. It is time, President Obama, that all American citizens be allowed to enjoy the fruits of their labor. In Fort Knox, the gold reserves of our Nation lie untouched, wasting away in mere bar form. Instead, these bars could be used to create great mesas of gold that Scrooge McDuck could only dream of skiing and swimming in. It is time that we, the people, be allowed the privilege that we are rightfully entitled to; to play atop a mountain of gold. The challenges are great, but not insurmountable.
