United States citizens are not allowed to travel to Cuba as tourists. The lack of a diplomatic relationship with Cuba is due to Cold War era feelings and are not relevant to the 21st century. Our neighbors to the north, Canadians, are allowed travel to Cuba with no problems. Americans are allowed travel to China, another communist nation. There is no modern reason to disallow tourist travel to Cuba.
The relations and restrictions on Cuba are out-of-date and need to be repealed.
