Allow us to gladly give up our Bush-era tax breaks if it means the wealthy will lose their tax loopholes.

It is clear that some members of Congress are only looking out for the best interests of their financial portfolios and those of their friends. They will not allow the middle class tax breaks to be extended until the privileged few are included in the deal. Please allow us in the middle class to be the first to sacrifice for our country and pay these taxes starting Jan. 1st. The middle class has always carried the U.S. and will not negotiate with a Congress that is holding the country hostage. We will pay now and vote them out in 2014.
