Our military forces are entrusted by the federal gov't and the people of the USA, to learn advanced war fighting techniques, have personal disciplined far beyond the average citizen, and to use machineguns, pistols, assault rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns, anti-tank rockets, grenade launchers and war machines worth millions of dollars to conduct wars for the USA in countries around the world.
Yet our military is not trusted to carry concealed firearms in uniform or while on military posts, even if they have valid carry permits.
Gun Free Zones have been systematically shown to be targets for terrorists, from tiny Amish schoolhouses to "well guarded" US Army bases.
Our soldiers have the training and discipline to carry and employ those firearms in dire situations to protect our nation.
