With the Olympics coming up, and Russia's recent "coming out", and telling the world that they are clearly anti-gay, the people of our government have spoken, but I think it is time for the citizens to speak. I was watching Morning Joe this morning and heard Senator Chuck Schumer propose something interesting. He thought it would be an interesting idea to come out and wave a multi-colored flag at the Olympics. I do think this is a good idea and that this will really embarrass Vladimir Putin. We need to tell the world that it is time to change and it is time to start conforming to the society we have created today. Clearly going against gay and lesbian rights isn't doing any good, so why not support it?
