allow us to use our portable electronic devices during takeoff and landing on commercial airline flights.

Created by D.W. on February 09, 2013

Personal electronic devices, such as cell phones and tablets, do not interfere with any on board systems on commercial airliners. If they posed any risk at all, they would not be allowed on board. Switching them off for takeoff and landing causes increased boredom for people who increasingly rely on them in place of hard copy books and magazines. This is a pointless, anachronistic regulations that should be abolished immediately.
