Allow the use of cell phones, tablets, and laptops at all times on an airplane. There is no proof of interference.

Hours of productive time are lost each day because people are not able to use their mobile phones, tablets, and laptops during the taxi/takeoff on an airplane. It makes no sense. Half of the people on the plane do not shut their phones off. It's impossible to enforce. In addition, there are no conclusive studies that show that these devices interfere with airplane operation. Hundreds of hours are wasted by flight attendants trying to police this rule. Thousands of travelers are inconvenienced each day, simply because the FAA will not conclusively test these devices and lift this rule. It's a small thing, but add up all of these hours of productivity and wasted effort, and it would have a significant impact on our economy.
