I am petitioning to create a squadron (or squidron) of Giant Squid to be used as a front line assault unit in the war on terror, both over seas and on our home land.
The only foreseeable issue with this process will be to gain the trust of the Giant Squid, for they have began to side with the Japanese, since they have been killing their mortal enemy, the whale, for centuries.
Our only path around this is to kill 17x more whales than the Japanese are able to, effectively pulling the interest of the Giant Squid to the United States and opening a friendship to our new cephalopod brethren.
