The VA is required by law to bill other insurance, but they are not allowed to bill Medicare. This makes no sense. It makes more sense for these two government programs to share the cost of caring for the eldest of our Veterans. Allowing the VA to simply bill Medicare like any other insurance would:
-Provide better care to our Senior Veterans,
-Reduce Medicare's cost by utilizing the VA,
-Reduce the costs incurred by our Senior Citizen Veterans.
